Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MindNexus Labs LLC (“MindNexus Labs”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our mobile applications MoodAnchor, Kurdipeyv and ReJournal (the “Apps”) and the website mindnexuslabs.com (the “Site”). Where an app's store listing shows additional details, those details also apply.

2. Summary by app

  • MoodAnchor — no ads, no ad tracking. Optional paid subscription.
  • Kurdipeyv — the free version shows ads from Google AdMob; a Premium subscription removes them.
  • ReJournal (coming soon) — no ads, no ad tracking. Optional paid subscription.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information — if you create an account: email address and a user ID. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the identifier and email that provider shares with us.
  • Content you enter — for example mood ratings, sleep times, medication check-ins and notes in MoodAnchor; learning progress in Kurdipeyv; journal entries, tags and photos you attach in ReJournal.
  • Messages — what you send us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

  • Diagnostics — crash reports and basic performance data (device model, OS version, app version) to fix bugs.
  • Purchase information — an anonymous app user ID, the products you bought, transaction and renewal dates, your store country and currency, and the store receipt. We never receive your card or bank details.
  • Advertising data (Kurdipeyv free version only) — the ad network may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device information and ad interactions, in order to show, limit and measure ads.

4. Advertising and tracking

Only the free version of Kurdipeyv shows ads, served by Google AdMob. On iPhone, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before the advertising identifier is used for tracking; if you decline, you will see non-personalised ads. In the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent through a consent message before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the app's settings at any time. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings. A Kurdipeyv Premium subscription removes ads.

Google's use of data is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. MoodAnchor and ReJournal contain no ads and no advertising SDKs, and we never use or share health-related content for advertising.

5. Health-related information

Entries in MoodAnchor (and mood tags in ReJournal) may reveal information about your health. We use this information only to provide the app's features to you. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it for marketing. We do not use it to make decisions about you. Where you choose to share a report with a clinician, you decide what is shared and with whom.

6. How we use information

  • to provide the Apps' features and sync your data between your devices;
  • to process purchases, check whether your subscription is active and restore purchases;
  • to show ads in the free version of Kurdipeyv;
  • to maintain security, prevent abuse and fix errors;
  • to respond to your requests;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), we rely on performance of our contract with you, your consent (for health-related content and personalised advertising, which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interest in keeping the Apps secure and working, and legal obligations.

7. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Apps, under contracts that restrict their use of it:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Crashlytics) — accounts, synced data and crash reports.
  • RevenueCat, Inc. — manages subscriptions and in-app purchases; receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase history and store receipts. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
  • Apple and Google — process payments through the App Store and Google Play.
  • Google AdMob — ads in the free version of Kurdipeyv only.

Data that stays on your device is stored only there. Our providers may process data on servers in the United States or other countries. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it except with these providers, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

8. How long we keep data

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, synced data is deleted from active systems promptly and from backups within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Support emails are kept for up to two years.

9. Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of this can be done in the app; you can also email info@mindnexuslabs.com. See Delete your account. You can withdraw advertising consent in Kurdipeyv's settings or your device settings. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, Turkey or California) you may have additional rights, including to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to our systems is limited, and accounts are protected by our authentication provider. No method is completely secure, so please use a strong device passcode.

12. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

13. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the Apps.
